Reason for price?
Maybe it was the oily stuff that made it valuable?
Or maybe something could be learned by the buyers handle (name).

Maybe I should buy a ton of these, hold onto them for 20 years, then sell them on Ebay, (if it still exists) That will be my retirement fund!

hmmmm.
sorry craig,
i think the price would be even higher than an "official" jack stand by a factor of 1000.
but, you could park your airstream on my jack stand and still have enough room for your kick stand on a bike.
dual purpose! i think i'll double the price.
now i gotta get the magic marker again and add the harley logo to it!
a true crossover marketing scheme! look out milwaukee and jackson center! here i come!
