I owned a Globetrotter for 1 minute!
I picked up a 65 Globetrotter on Monday about 100 miles from my home, I met the seller at their work and followed their friend to the trailer about 2 miles away. I decided to buy it and hooked it to my truck and went back to where they worked, paid, got the title, walked out the door and before I got in my truck to leave a lady pulled up and said "Tell me it is for sale!" I said it will be when I get it cleaned up and told her the price. She said follow me home, It is sold!
All in all it was sold in less then 1 minute from the time I got it till the time she said "I want it"
Let this be a reminder to those looking that when you find what you want, you may not have time to sleep on it and get back to them later.
Know what you want and when you find it buy it.
By the way she got a great trailer for a fair price and was pleased.
Has anyone ever sold one faster? This one beat my previous personal record by over 4 Hours!
Luckily she had a Poloroid so I could take pictures to have for my collection of Airstreams I have owned (even though I didnt even get a chance to explore this one!
