Is anyone else longing for Spring?

Sitting here watching a football game, enjoying the heat of our wood stove. I like to check this forum regularly, which got me thinking of our Avion, camping, travelling, etc.

Is anyone else longing for warm weather so we can enjoy our trailers??

You don't have to wait for spring. Here in Phoenix, it was 65 degrees today. Plus, before the clouds rolled in the past few days, it was 75-80 degrees.

We've been driving around with our windows down, and we rode our bikes a couple of days last week.

Come on down!

I am longing...not that I need warm weather...there are not many open places in my area this time of year...we will start in March.

Do you try to remove it off and from around your AS after every storm? It must cause havoc to it if left on and around the trailer.

We're booked at Hunting Island, SC for spring break and just added a quick 3-day weekend trip here in NC. Cannot wait!

We cannot wait to escape from Florida. We have had New Lucy (2015 FC 25FB) since October. We have put 40+ nights on her since then, but all of it has been in Florida. She is just itching for a real trip. As soon as the weather breaks, we will head to Maine or California. We'll decide which on the day that we leave.

Come-on Spring! Can't wait.

"Escape from Florida.." That's a good one!

My folks used to live in your neighborhood..... Destin first, then Niceville. Beautiful area.

Brian,
When you decide to go to Maine or California, will you just leave and find private campgrounds as you go with an occasional night at WalMart?

We really enjoy snowshoeing and skiing during the winter here in Vermont. However, we do have dreams of spring break in April and summer travels. As a matter of fact, we have reservations for both locked in.

We do both, Bill. We camp at a combination of campgrounds, Wal-Marts, truck stops, and rest areas. We are fly-by-the seat-of-our-pants Airstreamers. We rarely make any reservations.

Brian

Escaping Florida in the morning! Too cold here at Canopener the past week. Headed to LA (lower Alabama) as the weather gurus say it will be in the high 60s there tomorrow.

ID:	230274 We enjoy our trailer year-round in balmy Iowa. Winter means no bugs and the place to yourself. Propane. Lots of propane.

Spring; What's that?

Hi, what's Spring? We have no seasons in Southern California. But wait we are in Oregon now. We have mist, fog, and some rain, but we didn't get any snow where we are at now. When we decide to travel, we go.

We head west from Vermont, if not every year, close to it. We are into the National Parks in the Rocky Mountain range all the way into Canada. For the National Parks we try to book at least 6 months in advance (they book fast and early). As for the travel days - Ohio Turnpike has RV parking at the service areas - then it's Walmarts, truck stops, etc. I contact prior to trips to find if it's permissible at the various locations that are daily travel goals for us. Again, check with a manager when you get to these places to find out where they want you to stay. It's nice to buy something there as well. If tanks need emptying, that's a night for a campground. It really cuts down on trip costs.
