Interstate Comes to Canada

We will have our first Canadian showing of the Airstream Interstate in Canada today through Sunday at the Toronto International RV Show. Just in case anyone has been wanting to see one.

We also have seven Airstream trailers on display.

Just out of curiosity…

What are the differences between the Canadian and American models, aside from everything being in metric measurements or bilingual English/French labeling?

The electrical wiring is sometimes different. The Canadian version of my trailer has CSA approval for the electrical. I'll go out on a limb and say the majority of the difference is meeting CSA approval.

Wish we could go to the Toronto RV show, but it's 5 hours each way from here, and I'm just a bit too busy.

Andy, good luck with the show!

Shouldn't the Canadian model be named 'Interprovince'?

The INTERPROVINCIAL. Neat idea from Cameron and great branding opportunity for Andrew T.

It's even bilingual French-English. Oui, pour le vrai!

Great Idea how about the TransCanada, if we could get it?

No. Go with Interprovincial. Bilingual. Not off putting to Americans.

( in the new world we live in I'm sening this on my iPad from Buenos Aires, Argentina).

Hope you are enjoying yourself in Argentina. Why don't you tell us what you are doing there. It might entertain Bruce, since he is bored in his Airstream on the road down south.

I also vote for the Interprovidence.

Dan,

Six weeks in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru. Urban travel sans Argosy. Capitals only: Buenos Aries, Montevideo, Santiago, Lima.

My delightful small hotel here in BA, 12 rooms off of a central open air courtyard, costs less than some US travel parks.
