Sold it yesterday. This was an unusual experience, selling an Airstream on Craigslist. Usually an ad get the normal replys, 4-5 on the first couple of days the it dies. I was getting 2-3 a week for the entire run! That was from a single city listing...

The Retro Airstream advertisement is one of the best I've ever seen for selling an Airstream. It is hilarious.

Not on Craigslist yet, but this ad was running locally. I Googled the email address and this is running in several cities. I smell a scam, or a totally trashed trailer with a salvage title..

Here's an interesting one.

2005 Bambi for $5900

Vin looks legit. This ad has popped up repeatedly over the past month on Craigslist in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. There was a very very similar ad bouncing around last month too. Same price, same model/year.

Price seems very low. That trailer has a blue book much higher than that. Googled sellers email address and found a long list of John Deere ads on craigslist.

What also looks odd is the fact that the trailer info in the ad appears to be copied from AS or from an RV dealer. There's no "personalized" info at all. And I can't imagine that as long as it is that somebody typed it all out.

These are the same pictures scammers were using on many Carigslist ads last year. I guess inflation has caught up with them too as the price use to be $5,800.

This looks like a trailer I saw at Jerry Greer RV a couple years ago. Greer was the Airstream dealer here for years and gave up the franchise in the 90's. They just went under by the way....
