I know people have wanted to get those and call up the wbbci and ask for numbers.... I'd do it, but it might be an expensive joke. Or, you could put a hitch on it, and get numbers for that and your trailer....
It is as much a true Airstream as an Interstate. Might make a good camper conversion project for someone with lots of cash and free time on their hands. It would certainly be a conversation starter with club numbers front and rear.

I cannot speak for the 5 made comment, but wonder if there is any proof.
I can say with certainty that this Airstream did NOT participate on either the 1963-64 Around the World Caravan, nor the 1959-60 Cape Town to Cairo Caravan.

I'm thinking that trailer is WAY too long to have been around the world with Wally.
Also my thought, something is just not right about the claims made. It is sort of like the the dozens of Airstreams that the sellers always claim to have belonged to that actress that was on Bay Watch. Wally would not be pleased.

There was a 30 footer and several 26 footers, including one single axle 26 footer, on the African caravan with Wally - just not this trailer. There were several 26, 28, & 30 footers that went Around the World after Wally died, but none were as old as this trailer.

No. I did find the ad a bit humorous, I'd have to admit.
Humorous until the Feds come after the new owner for claiming to have 1099 employees. You can't have employees, and at the same time claim they are independent contract workers!
