1984 Avion 30p travel trailer
I have one of these & love it! Not an AS, but it's REALLY inexpensive.

I've seen this beside the road (US 2) in Hungry Horse, Montana, just outside Glacier National Park (Craigslist-Kalispell)

Not an airstream but pretty cool. I'd seriously consider for a project if it wasn't for the dent on the curb side behind the door.

Scams on classifieds
My wife and I are trying to purchase our first AS and have recently answered several ads on the classifieds from the Forum which have seemed to evolve into come-ons for typical internet fraud schemes. Very disappointing; is there someone to whom this can be reported so that the ads can be removed? Thanks- DD

With these "new" classifieds" we are now seeing there are numerous new posters....showing up as new members and with either outrageously priced or to good to be true Airstreams for sale. We never really had that problem before the new format...I guess send a note to the Moderators. The push to promote the new Classifieds seems to override the problems.

Alert the Forum moderator ASAP, with your suspect fraud information. Beware of scams everywhere you look for your AS dream. I've had several scammers try to get my Airstream or locate its whereabouts.

Please report any suspect ads to the site team (moderators). We do not want to leave any ads up that are not legitimate. The URL for the ad and/or the ad reference ID along with any other information you have would be helpful, especially if you've received a "scammy" response from the owner of the ad.
You can either directly PM one of us who's online (at the bottom of the Portal page is the list of all users currently online, and moderator userIDs are in bold) or you can use the Contact Us link at the bottom of every page. The Contact Us link goes to an email address that's checked several times a day.
