Very nice shape. Does not leak. fuel oil burning stove. Perfect for deer camp.

And it's only a double axle! I'm sure it tows very well.

Are you saying that because you feel that $29k is below market price?

Well, I didn't think that as much as seeing it listed in several different cities across the US with a few different prices. There is one listed on ebay right now for $44,900 , so the $29K is a bargain compared to that. I really don't know what the market price is for one. I just like them!

The Folks who bought my Caravel are now selling it. I am telling you this is NICE and all the right stuff. From Henchen to Lifeline to foam in the cushions, electrical system, Worthingtons, Ambruso Drapes and polished. I mean this is nice.1966 Airstream Caravel 17'

That's a nice looking coach. I like the carpeting. However, a thorough inspection would be needed because of the age.

That one appears to be in unusually wonderful shape, but I agree a thorough going-over is needed for sure in order to be able to support that price. After all it's almost as old as my TT!

Love the window in the door, I wonder if it is original..? Wild guess from looking at the photo, you may want new axles. But if that is the only thing you need, you are laughing!

Thanks for the responses. I called the seller today. Here's the story. It's been stationary quarters for about 12 years (different owners) while their homes were built. The seller says the axle is fine and was just towed 800 miles. New tires and shocks before towing. He recommends the propane lines be replaced. He said there is a deep cycle battery that is inside the AS to run appliances. The carpet tiles are laid over a linoleum floor. I asked for additional photos of the floor, underneath, bathroom, battery.
How do I search this list for an inspector?
Thanks everyone!
Sus
