I assume the interior rear shot was before he painted the interior bright blue (the interior forward shot)? Or visa versa. I like to new floor.

If it's truly a 57 and made in OH - only one appears to have been made that year. It's not a 56 CA model... so - who knows....

To those that went out of your way to help us find a new coach, Thank You. We found a true gem in Tennessee complete with a WBCCI Membership. A 34' Limited. We LOVE her and we have a home again. Cheers.

Did the seller gift you a membership? Unless something has changed very recently, memberships in the club with Mr Byam's name in it are not transferable with the purchase of a trailer. Could you explain your statement?

I am pretty sure that is an California made 1957 Bubble because the wheel wells appear to have the front to rear slope that was only utilized by the California plant.

He just said he would call to try to have the numbers transferred but I would have to pay for the membership. Is that possible?

yes, that is very possible. A very nice gift would be the $75 membership fee too.

Congrates on your new purchase. Hope to see you on the road.

He didn't give me the $75.00 fee but did give me a Hensley Arrow already attached and $1,000.00 off his asking price. I think that was pretty swell of him. It was well worth the drive from L.A. to TN. Can't wait to see all of you on the road.

Neat - gotta love when they "toss in" a Hensley.
As Frank said, congrats and have fun!

not craiglist but free (silver streak) to me?---hello--I was out working on my 56 Bubble this afternoon and my oldest son's friend's dad came over to pick up his boy. He said--i have one of those old alluminum trailers sitting out at one of my farms--"it's gutted out and needs a ton of work but the outside's in pretty good shape--if you want you can have it --i'll just give it to you for free" he said. Man--what are hard thing to pass up. however, I'm realizing what it takes (dollar wise) to rebuild a trailer. When i was on a pizza run i had to go out to his farm to check it out. it's a cool looking silver streak rocket 28 footer but needs lots and lots, and lots of money to make roadworthy. I need someone to talk me out of throwing some spare tires on it and crawling home with it. The skin seems doable minus one dent by the door, a couple holes from old vents but several of the old windows were toast and boarded up to keep water out. it needs more work than my bubble did that's for sure as the bubble's exterior is solid. do any of you know much about the rocket model or silverstreaks in general? I know they're not as collectable as airstreams but still interesting. cheers--ted
