"Get it While it's hot!" -- considering that area is currently on fire! :-P

First issue, no such thing as a 1968 Bambi II, only produced in 1964. Second issue, he is deluded on the worth.

Except he probably paid a ton to have it restored, and who ever did the work convinced him it was worth that much money.

$16K for an abandoned project:
Restoration-Ready 1971 Airstream Tradewind Trailer
I would consider it for $1,600 not $16,000.

Um, yeah. No internal skin, so no strength from semi-monocoque design. No mention of replacement of tires or axles either, so it's going to be a rough, unstable ride to its new home.

We bought the exact same model 5 years ago, unrestored, for a small fraction of what he's asking, and it was nearly ready to camp in, barring axles, tires and running lights.

For those who might want to remodel something like this, note that there is no mention of old pieces to use as patterns for replacing inner skin or bulkheads or cabinets, either, nor any still functional appliances.

Buyer beware.

No relationship to seller. I can do a pre-inspection if you are traveling from a distance. (PM me if you need help -- no guarantee that I'll check back on this thread.)
