Interesting Bambi

This 2000 Bambi has been parked in the storage yard where I keep my Airstream for a few weeks. No WBCCI number, but he is obviously set up for boondocking.

He has a great big battery box under a welded structure that is obviously intended to mount a generator. There is a 30# propane tank on each side of the A-frame and a folding ladder tucked behind the propane bottles.

At the rear. the bumper is missing and there is a welded carrier on each side of the storage box that mounts a 5-gallon jerry can. Fuel for the generator, I guess.

Thumbs up Hunting cabin on wheels

The 1st thought that came into my mind was that this would be a great remote hunting cabin on wheels.

Maybe I thought this because Texas is so larger and has many remote hunting areas.

Very Interesting John..

These are the kinds of images that stir our own imaginations. I have been working on some ideas to clean up the front area of our Safari. Would like more storage up front especially a place to store the torsion bars when parked.
Perhaps there will be some more replies with good ideas.

Wayne F, I don't know what brand of torsion bars you have but this link may provide some help as to how to store them.

My sway bar, torsion bars, and pipe lever go in my rear bumper storage while parked.

Pretty cool mods. A serious boondocker!
