Independence MO? Help Please!

Is there anyone in the area that can help me out?
I bought a GT a few months back, but the
weather has not let up for me to go retrieve it.
To add to the dilemma the seller has been a bit difficult
to help out. She has given me directions and it appears
to be in the middle of nowhere, exposed to any potential
damage,if not worse.
Anyhow, I would need to have someone pull it to a Storage
at my expense.
Hopefully someone is able to give me a hand.
Fabian

If it might help you, I'll call my daughter who lives in Blue Springs next door to Independence to see if she is able. She has a Ford 150 and has pulled other trailers. What kind of liability is involved here? Are there potential problems with the PO that she might have to deal with? Anything else I should know before I call?

Good for you, Laura! I'll wait on calling my daughter since you have stepped up. Let me know if something complicates this for you and you are unable to move the GT for Fabo. I can still get in touch with her. Be sure and let us know how this adventure goes.

Thank You.

Max and Laura,
Both your offers are timely and with the season.
Here is the story,
I bought the GT on ebay a few months back.
The ad offered storage for a fee at a local storage.
It also stated, "or it can stay in private property for free".
Being the government employee that I am, I opted for the
second option.
Then I realized that the private property was a friend's not
the seller's. She assured me that it would be ok where it was
parked. Then I looked at the directions and it sounded as if
it were parked on the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere.
That worried me.
Then I realized that I am some two days away on a clear drive.
That is when I panicked. Should I take off for a 1500 mile plus drive?
Or should I ask for help?
Having learned that nice folks still exist, I posted my "Need help" ad.
I have pm(ed) Laura and I will talk to the seller to coordinate tomorrow.
Thanks in advance to all.
Fabian

Done!

Wow,
What a ride!
Just yesterday morning I ask for someone to come to my rescue and today,
no more than 24 hrs later it is done.
Who says that kindness and generosity is a bygone aspect of our culture?
Laura and her husband took valuable time from their end of year celebration,
and bailed me out. I will surely repay this act along to anyone who may need a hitch or a ride.
I will have a very happy new year now that the GT is sitting in storage.
Laura,
Thank You.

And not a moment too soon! The place where it had been parked has been hit with an ice storm. It was parked under some pine trees. Not much chance that the branches wouldn't have broken and damaged the trailer.
