Go West, young man, go west! California has no problems or beauracracy. Your problems will be solved there. All of the people are friendly, and the streets are paved with gold!

In Nuevo Mexico, it is usually society's fault. If you have a problem here, they look after you and care for you and hold your hand. They're sorry you found yourself in your pickle. Sounds like you'll like that!
Yellow means go! You'll never get a ticket here!
Heck, they can't even check your ID in Santa Fe for fear of trampling your rights - they might find you're an illegal immigrant, and that would be discriminatory. Don't talk on a cell phone when driving, tho, because that's a problem and illegal too (I mean let's get real!). Cameras? No way!
Home of a resident with his 21st DWI. It really isn't his problem in NM! Sounds like you imbibe. This is right up your alley then!
Nuevo Mexico receives $2 for every federal tax dollar paid by its residents. What a return!
Your child can attend college for free if a graduate of a Nuevo Mexico high school. Now you tell me, where can you get a deal like that? Unfortunately, few take the state up on this. The drop-out rate is high...
Register you car for $40 a year! Your trailer is another $40.
Cockfighting is still legal here (one of two states)! They call it family entertainment - really!
What funds all this fun? An across the board 6% sales tax on everything from soups to nuts, medical bills to eyeglasses, gardeners to homeopaths. In Nuevo Mexico, they tax everything, with a smile!
The folks here are nice beyond compare. Really! And, it is a really beautiful place with lots of casinos.
good golly miss molly.....i might come down there and run for governor.....i am so overcome i just dont know where to start...now is it liberals living the good life in a conservative world, or vice versa.....i am so popular that there is something everyone will hate me for... i ESPECIALLY hate people who drive bmw;s and talk on their stupid cell phones...and after that i hate the rest of the people who drive and talk on their stupid cell phones.....and yes i have been known to imbibe. or for youse guys down there...elbow curls , doncha know.....but 21 dui's....the next thing you are going to tell me is he works for Haliburton......and while im at it trying to alienate people i can speak a little spanglish cuz we have lotsa hispanic people up here....they tell me its too hot in nuevo mexico......and the water is much better up here.....

Hey, Norby,
Come to Cleveland, Ohio to escape the bullshit, it's not allowed here. Heck just this past week an old classic Pink Floyd tune was pulled from a radio station playlist for just that very word. The song "Money" has been played thousand of times over the last 30 years. Now it is off the air because of bullshit. To me that is bullshit.
So on second thought maybe you do'nt want to come here, because bullshit reigns supreme in our area too. After all this is the place that brought to you all Dennis "the menace" Kucinich.
Bob,
Couldn't help but notice that you have a certain affinity to MONTANA!!! Open space, very conservative, free wheeling, and guns everywhere - might want to check that out. Missoula is a liberal island in a gun totin', God fearing, rancher's mecca - if that's your shtick.
Yup, Guv Bill probably does have more on his mind than running the state that comes up 49th or 50th on just about every list except when it measures # of drunken drivers. That honor is held by... you guessed it, MT! And MD earns top honors for # of beer cans per mile of highway. We know because we tried really hard but came in 2nd. I'd say if you're looking for drinking buddies, look at MT, MD or NM in that order.
Nope, he doesn't work for Haliburton... He probably works for Bill. It's important, you know, to help those folks out. He's our poster child. And, "Spanglish is our language". Kinda rhymes, too, you know?
Water? We've learned to live without, so should you! Notta problem.
There is one problem tho. I read the other day that Santa Fe's real estate is 47% higher in cost than the national average. We know because the federal mandated minimum wage doesn't apply here. Just wouldn't be right, you know, to have to live in this veritable Garden of Eden on something less especially because you couldn't graduate high school and didn't get that free college education...
Yep, we've gone one better! Our employers must use a "living wage" of $8.50 per hour. Yee haw! This could be just what the doctor ordered (+6%, of course).
Now, I gotta admit, this thread is getting a bit goofy. In fact, I suspect (once your head quits hurting) that you'll come to your senses. But, remember, you'll be greeted with open arms (no, not that kind, dummy) in NM. And, the people are really friendly here. Really! We'd love to have ya!
