Question I'm baaaaack!

Hi, folks,

I've been away for a while, getting my real estate career jump-started. We haven't used the Bambi much lately since our trip out west last summer.

Which brings me to a question...I know we have a For Sale forum, but I wondered if anyone had an opinion about what we could get for our 2003 Bambi if we decided to sell it. We just aren't camping these days due to a lot of other constraints, and we're considering selling it. I just went to our new local Airstream dealership, and they said the 2005 Bambi retail suggested price is $37,000! Ours is in pristine condition, with heavy duty sway bar set up we had put on last summer in Jackson Center. Any opinions about what we could get for ours? Would we be wise to try to sell our tow vehicle with it as a package, since it has the heavy duty tow package and brake controller. It's a 2000 Ford F150 extended cab.

Any thoughts?

Angry OOps!

I've been away too long! I meant to post this topic under the general community forum, not the community Poll. Sorry. Oh well, any help would be appreciated.

Hi KY Girl, welcome back. Can't help you with your questions, except to say this is the time to sell, everyone is getting ready for a season of camping.

PS: I moved the thread back to the appropriate forum for you.

Bambi Calculation

KY Girl,
Try this website..... NADA, which will give you fair market value for used trailers. Just fill in the blanks and it will calculate a reasonable selling price for an 03 Bambi. Be sure to put all the installed options you have in the price!
Go to: NADA

Also check on www.RVTRaderOnline.com or www.RVSearch.com or www.RVAmerica.com for similar year/model/equip to get an idea of dealer (and private party) asking prices.

KY girl,
I would list them as a unit but be willing to sell them seperately, maybe offer a slight discount if they buy the pair The Bambi is light enough it can be towed by a lot of different trucks/SUV's. I agree with the NADA and browse RV guides to find out what others are selling for.

Good luck on your decisions...

Aaron
