Question If Airstream didn't exist, what would you buy?

If Airstream didn't exist, what would your top picks be for a travel trailer?

No doubt about it, a used Avion, a trailer which is in many ways superior to the Airstream, except in styling and interior natural light.

I think Holiday Rambler is a decent brand. Also, I was once told their club has none of the drama of a certain Airstream owners' club...

Maybe a New Horizon or an Excel Winslow...Arctic Fox also looks like an interesting choice?

My vote is for the Avion as 1st choice ahead of Airstream

A Silver Streak or a Streamline, if they had somehow been developed without AS leading the way.

Probably something like a 19' Escape nearly fully optioned.
19 Foot Escape

Or a 17' Casita. I don't need all of the 25' anyway as a single traveler.

Something that won't leak! I've heard good things about Holiday Ramblers, Bigfoot, anything fiberglass constructed. Something with a full size bed would be nice. I think it would be kind of nice to have something a bit more 'white box'-like and not attract so much attention!

Stef,

Nice bed...but it still might get some attention.

Earth Roamer XV-LTS

Okay, it's not a trailer and it's expensive ... but, if I couldn't have an Airstream, I'd love to have an EarthRoamer.

Awesome looking equipment! We had one across from us in Camden Hills State Park earlier this month. Very interesting rig.

While it's NOT a TT, the AVION cabover fully restored could suit me just fine. I'd have just the person in mind to restore one for me too.

If Boles Aeros had not existed I probably would have had two Airstreams.
