I found my Airstream...
Hi all,
I've been looking to buy a classic Airstream for some time now and I finally found the one for me....a 1968 Airstream International Overlander.
She is in good plus condition and I'm looking forward to bringing her home next week. I've been searching for an owners manual but don't seem to have any luck. Does anyone know where I can download or buy one...doesn't have to be an original. Since I'm new to Airstreams I'd like to understand how to use everything.

If you are looking for manuals you can get reproductions from Helen Davis at Secretarial Services, PO Box 484, Sidney, OH 45365 (937) 492-8885. High Quality reprinted Service and Owners' Manuals are also available from the Airstream Store at www.airstream.com look under books. If you don't see the year(s) you need contact Airstream.

I don't think Airstream produced owner's manuals for the the 1968 models. I think it was during the 70's that owner's manuals were first produced.

Rudimentary owner's manuals were produced starting around 1964. They got more detailed through the years, until the current ones, which look like a phone book  .
Service manuals were produced starting circa 1972.

Congrats on the Overlander.
I have an owners manual for my 66. I wish I had the service manual.
I have seen owners manuals on ebay.

I called Secretarial Services and the manual is on its way to me now.
