How not to sell your Airstream

We saw this ad on Ebay and have visited it every day just to have a laugh.

This is an old Airstream that needs some work. All floors are in good shape except where the water heater used to be. There is no water heater. The electricity works on 110 or 220 there is a battery to run the 12 volt but the inverter or converter that changes 110 to 12 volt is gone. This trailer needs restoration.
We have replaced 3 broken windows with plexiglass. The pictures show all the windows that open. The windows on the hitch end don't open and the one on the drivers side doesn't open. Some of the opening handles are missing.
The bathtub had a hole and was repaired with fiberglass patch. The gold color got accidentally mixed with it. It still could use smoothing out and another coat of resin.
The sink sags a little. I was going to fix this trailer up but haven't been able to get motivated. All of the roll up cabinet covers are gone. Most of the trays are still in their places. This trailer is dirty and in need of good cleaning.
The front door has a screen door that locks from the inside. The exterior door needs a new latch. I took it off but havn't looked for a new one.
This trailer is tagged with current tags and has a clear title. I am not sure about all the lights. It has a new looking trailer to truck plug in. It is different than what my truck was equipped with so I pulled it home without the lights hooked up.
The ceiling in the front of the trailer has been partially spray painted with white paint. It would look pretty good if it was finished.
The refrigerator is propane and electric. The guy I bought it from used it with propane. He said he never used the electricity with the refrigerator and didn't know how to. The door seals are pretty rough.
The air conditioner/heater in the ceiling works. There is a 8 track player mounted inside but I don't know anything about if it works or not.
Again this is a fixer upper. It doesn't leak. It has 4 pretty new looking tires. I have started this trailer at my rock bottom price and there is no reserve. Ask any questions and I will post the aswers to the best of my knowledge.

I hope the guy is honest. I would hate to think what it would look like if that is the good points.

8 or 10 hours of work would do wonders for this Airstream,

At least it isn't one of those "soon to be rare, collectible" versions.

It does look like he was hosting a Weight Watchers convention in his trailer when he snapped the photo. Maybe he will check in here, and we all could give him some pointers on making his ad more salesworthy.

Hi the community;
No univolt, no water heater , a hole in the bath, 110 or 220v but don't run the two... and all that is present in the trailer doesn't work or the seller don't know... it's not serious ; when you try to sale something you do all the necessary to be attractive so here, nothing is well done and the title of this thread is well found...I think that in reality , the condition is worse than we can see or worse than the description try to present the trailer;
But that is curious there are bids... Are the bidders crazy or friends's sellers are there to increase the final price ?

Bruno.

If I win I am confused. With summer coming I can't deside if it would be better to polish the outside and get a tan while doing it or go inside to work and sweat of a few pounds.
