I have always believed that the best thing about Airstream Travel is that if you get somewhere and don't like something about being there(bad neighbors, grass too high...) It takes no more than 5 minutes to hitch up and hit the road. In keeping with that, they are all ready to go at any time. I keep a box of perishables that I can transfer around and keep canned goods and boxed goods on board. Fill the Water Tank, Fill the Frig, carry out some hanging clothes and hit the road. Have my Choice of three tow vehicles, Ford Club Wagon, Econoline, or Crown Victoria (police interceptor of course!). The stares that I elicit towing a 30' A/S with the car are priceless...the truck drivers can't figure out what a cop is doing with a Airstream and still shooting radar (Yes I do have that too.) while towing. Does a good job pulling too. Too bad cars as tow vehicles have gone by the wayside.
Mostly tow the 30 with the V10 Club Wagon, The 92 21 with the Crown and can tow the rest with anything.
Keep up the excitement, If they don't get some new blood in the WBCCI it will die of old age. Have been a member over 20 years and STILL am the youngest member of my unit
