Anticipating that travel will end at some point, I want to be able to look around my little house and yard and be reminded of beloved places we traveled in our Interstate.

Last spring I replaced landscape timbers with a rock border of 8”-10” Wisconsin stone...all manner of beautiful rock now adorns the beds around my house and surrounds my garden.

I’ve also incorporated collected seashells into my landscaping, and am putting in a patio next year of aggregate concrete.

Rock and seashells remind me of places we have been to again and again.

How has “Airstreaming” impacted regular life?

Our Airstream has affected our life choices...

1. Our group of "best friends" are all those we have met through Airstreaming.
2. We moved to a "new house" (twice) so we could keep our Airstream(s) at home on our property.
3. Our daily driver is our tow vehicle - I wouldn't be driving an SUV otherwise.
4. The places we chose to vacation are more likely than not to include sleeping in our own Airstream beds.

Wouldn't have it any other way!

Shari
