Pretty neat idea. You would never be able to make those conversions these days, with liability and safety issues, as well as the high cost of labor. I could envision a Humbago...

Thanks for sharing that URL. Growing up in the Black Hills, I remember seeing several of those each year and thought each one was owner built. I had no idea that some of them may have come from a single maker. The most remarkable was called Noah's Ark, on a Chevy pickup cab and made of wood.
