Rivet Help with the monthly newsletter...

I need some help in creating an infomative monthly news letter. I'd like to start including more information on Forum Rallies, other Airstream events, membership info, and anything else that you think 5,500+ Airstream enthusiasts would like to know about.

Is anyone willing to take ownership of creating our monthly newsletter? Your help would be MUCH appreciated!

Andy, I would gladly help but I'm not sure that the monthly newsletter is needed. You have plenty to do without that. Your constant revisions do not go unnoticed.
The foruns are great. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Just wondering......

Could be that a monthly news letter e-mailed directly to all of the members of the Forum would be just the required incentive to get the sometimers and lurkers to become more active here on the Forum.

It would also be an opportunity for those that are registered and no longer wish to be associated with the Forums to reply to the monthly news letter and request that their subscription be terminated.

I think the Ralley update would be great - since "camping season" varies around the country (the deep south is shut down right now, - too hot -), it would deliver an update to the members who do not view the Forums frequently. I am sure that there are some out there who would like to become aware of a ralley opportunity to go Airstreaming with like minded individuals.

I tend to agree with Rog0525 that the Forum already is advanced way beyond newsletters. You get what you want, when you need it. If it is upcoming events that you want to highlight, maybe a simple email with a link to the events section on the forum, would be enough. No need to get into all the work involved with creating and formatting a newsletter.
