Help with Interior Heights?

There was a website with a FAQ section that covered the interior heights of Airstream models over the years. I seem to have gotten brain fade and cant recall where it was. Can anyone help? If you recall where it was OR know about interior height changes with model changes over the years, please let me know. Im 6'4", so it sure is relevant!! Thank you folks. Searching for my first A/S. PS. Would like to find AS with rear twins and center bath. Dont care what year or interior condition. Will consider any straight body 24 ft. and over. Thanks again.

I'm 6'2" without shoes and have no problem standing in the center (even under the vent cranks which stick down a little) Ithink you'd have to slouch around if you were much taller or wear big heels

I am afraid that I can't help you with the precise site about which you have inquired. I can provide information on both the ceiling height on my '64 Overlander as well as my '78 Argosy. Each have a 6'4" ceiling height in the main cabin area. I believe these measurements to be fairly typical of the era. The only serious intrustion into this measurement in either trailer is the air conditioner - - in the Overlander, the accordian doors at either end of the bedroom would also provide an intrusion for their ceiling mounted tracks.

I belive that you will be looking for a coach that is at least 26 feet if you want the separate bedroom in the rear. I don't belive that I have ever seen a Trade Wind with a rear bedroom arrangment. It is possible that the more modern coaches may have the rear bedroom arrangement in either 24 or 25 foot models, but it woudl make for a rather compact floor plan.

I saw a 1980 25 ft. Excella II with rear twins and center bath sell on ebay last year. It is pretty much what I want sometime in the future. I wonder if that configuration was also available in '81, '82 and '83?

Thanks to everyone for their advice. I found the info. on heights for anyone that is interested. It was listed on the Vintage AS Club site under RESOURCES/FAQ's in sub heading "Weights-Towing". What you mentioned seems to pan out as true on the back bedrooms. Most all units from the 60's have rear baths. They are beutiful trailers but I really want a rear twin setup. Ive noticed a number of units from the 70's have either rear bath OR rear bedrooms. The large ones anyway. Maybe one of these would be a better choice for me to restore. Thanks again.
