Help In Bend Oregon!!!!!!

I just got my trailer to fit in the garage of my house. Now the fun has just begun. I have started to remove all of the "guts" of the trailer and have already run into a lot of floor rot . Is there any one in the Bend Oregon area that would be able to take pity on a greenhorn and give some on-sight advice? Beer or some other of compensation will be provided; I am also a pastry chef if that is a motivator . Thanks in advance for any help that is available.

BB55 if you can wait til next summer to get started I might be able to make it for a week or two... and if you could relocate down to Bandon I might even guarantee some additional help.

I've never done the floor in an AS but I know how to drink beer and be very supportive .

Pastry is not on my diet unless you have something low in cholesterol to offer.

I'm not in Bend, but will be in Sisters as soon as there's enough snow in the mountains for snowmobiling. You're probably not going to be too far along by then, anyway. I've done several Airstreams from the 60's with floor problems. Depending on how far you want to go with your project (frame problems? underbelly skin?) you may be able to cut out the rotten portions of the floor and replace with the same thickness plywood. This is a pain to do without lifting the body, but it can be done. DO NOT be fooled into overlaying the existing floor. Email me at landyachtdoc@earthlink.net for more free advice! Darol
