MSRP on the unit in TL is $37,205.
Vacuum bonded laminated walls and a "six sided aluminum cage". Molded front and rear caps.

This is my concern.

What Would Cause A Bulge On The Side Wall Of Our RV?

Too wide - too long for getting into NPs, IMHO.

Both of the people I know with glass walled units have delamination at 8 - 10 years. The only proper repair is an entire wall replacement.

Edit: excuse me, I forgot about the guy at church. Make that 3 people I know with delamination.

Fiberglass and wood don't mix. I have seen many boats that were really just wooden boats with fiberglass skins. Water gets into the wood and the boat falls apart.

Looks to me inside like any other sob,...cheap and worthless.

Just my opinion. Not worth it.

I would have to visit the factory to see how they are actually made before I would spend that kind of money on one. I think the RV industry in general is designed around a 5-10 yr lifetime MAX. Anything more than that and you kill your future sales because no one would by a new unit if they can buy an old one in good shape for a fraction of new.

perry I finally agree with you. We have been around many RVer's for several months. The class A motor home folks are almost trapped. They buy with warranty and extended warranty. The maintenance is so frequent and expensive, they have to trade for new/near new when the warranty runs out because they can't afford to maintain them.

If anyone thinks their Airstream is maintenance intensive, you don't know how lucky you are. Stuck slide outs, stuck stabilizers, surface delimitation, misaligned axles, electrical glitches, leaks everywhere on quite new units.
