Hangin' at the Dealership (With Photos)

The dealership I bought my AS from had an open house today. I needed some things for the 'stream so decided to go, but the parts department was closed.

Since I was there, thought I'd check out a few RVs just for the 'ell of it.
I was interested in the Earthbound trailers because they appear to be the closest competitor to the AS.

This one was a 29.5 footer. I liked the highly-polished cabinets and general finishing details - except for the linoleum floor. I thought it didn't match the quality of the other fittings.

The bathroom was huge (sorry for blurry picture).

Still, I wouldn't give up my 'stream for the EB trailer. I am happy with my unit!

Also took a boo at some tent-trailers. I've always liked them - they just are not practical for my long-term needs.

This one had a nice rack for carrying things in the front.

Also liked the bright-yellow finishing details of this tent-trailer. It also had diamond-plating on the outside and heavy-duty mud tires. Looked kinda macho!

Liked the acrylic light-up handle of this $450,000 Class A.

And finally.....a row of Airstreams just waiting for someone to love them.

It's fun to just look. Do you do that too???

Thanks for the pictures! We go to our local Airstream dealer and look about once a month. We love our Argosy, but it's fun to wander through the new ones, and maybe get some ideas of how to update ours. We can spend hours there! The RV shows are neat, too - you can see so many different brands and models all in one place. Glad you had a such a good time!

Be sure to make it to a Vintage Rally!!

That, and some new trailers (plus the never-ending task of trying to keep up around here) will create a sharp pair of eyes given some time in ownership and use.
