Yes they are annoying, anyway to eliminate them? Do the airforums get revenue from them?

Very simple way to eliminate them. Use Firefox or (now) Google Chrome with Adblock Plus instead of Internet Explorer or Safari. Those ads simply don't show up anymore.

Yes, the Forum gets revenue from them. Something has to pay for this as payments by members are voluntary.

I ignore them.
