I'm a new comer to airstream.
I want to buy an old trailer to be totally renovated to my own needs.
What I am looking for is "shell" that is structurally good (including windows doors and undercarriage).
The interior's condition is not an issue since I plan a total rebuild.
I would like pointers for what lo look for.
Any information and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Start at Vintage Airstream and read their informative articles. Then check out their photo archive of all the different models for ideas about what you can achieve.
Also, I would encourage you to buy a trailer that still has all its cabinetry intact so that you can use the pieces as templates for anything new - some of those curves can be tricky to match, unless you're particularly skilled in that area.
