Question Front gravel guards

Does anyone know how to remove the ugly white stuff from the SS front gravel guards on a new A/S?
Trying to start the corner to peel, it just comes off in little pieces and flakes.
Book doesn't give a clue and AS dealer couldn't even get the stabilizer jacks to work.

This is what A/S told me to do

My rig had been sitting on the dealers lot almost a year when I bought it, so the film was almost cemented to the stainless steel. Anyway, I called A/S tech support and after telling me that the dealer should have removed it, they then told me to use a heat gun and patience. It took me an entire day to remove the stuff. I used a commerical heat gun. I would heat an area about the size of your hand until I could see a bit of bubbling up (not scorching), I then took a hard plastic spatula and carefully removed the released film. The key to heating the film is to never leave the gun pointed at any one spot. I used a circular motion to heat the area. Sometime I got lucky and a much larger section would peel away. After I got all the film removed, I was told to use some laquer thinner to remove the adhesive that might remain (care not to splash any as it will remove clearcoat and paint as well). BTW, the stone guards are not clearcoated as stainless steel needs no such protection. Not really difficult, just time consuming.

Good Grief ! Your DEALER couldn't get the jacks to work? What in the world are you going to do when you need serious repairs? !!!!!

The heat gun idea sounds pretty good!
The unit has been sitting on the lot for about 6 months.
As to the dealer.
They were the only one in TN and were being started by the Mitsubishi dealer. Guy on lot was a former car salesman and doesn't have a clue about RVing.
Repairs will be made by a rep at the FORD dealer (not in my lifetime). I will have to take it to AS since the people here didn't
even know how to prep for delivery. That part goes on to AS.
BUT!! I've got the AS and am looking forward to a different style after 10 yrs of diesel pushers.
Thanks to all for the advice.
