ALL Sellers Beware of the False Cashiers Check Overpayment scam.

If you get an email from someone named Wilson Johnson; I would Strongly encourage you reconsider before doing any business with this person

This dirtbag sent me a fake cashiers check for $14,600, overpayment of $5,100 for the trailer I have for sale. I took it to the bank, noting to the Bank teller that it just might be false. Upon more thorough examination, it had 1. No Watermark
2. Was postdated by 7 calendar days
3. Amounts were handwritten

Happened on a Monday too, makes that song by the Stones seem to more well written. Hope this helps protect anyone. If it seems to good to be true, it is. Stay away from this loser.

So, Pacer will go back up for sale. Thanks for reading Pat

Lots of people pulling that scam. Always be careful, especially if they do something suspicious like overpaying. Glad you caught it.

I would be taking that to your local police, for them at least to be aware of and issue an alert for others, even if they can't track the sender.

We have had a couple of calls from persons alleging to be from our bank, stating our debit card had been cancelled and asking for information to be entered to reissue it. Not even from our bank.

The mice keep getting smarter.

impossible to catch. when you confront them about the bad check, they delete the email, change address and look for another "sucker" --- Glad you caught their scam.
