Found something interesting

I found a bunch of "Kelly Miller 3 Ring Circus" Official Route cards in the trailer as I began cleaning it today. They're all from 1986, but there is one from 1992, and one from the "Sells and Gray" 3-ring circus from 1977. I don't know what route cards are, but I'm guessing one of the PO's worked for the circus and traveled in this trailer, and this was a...permit of some kind? All the cards list locations in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas. I also found an old Oklahoma plate in the trailer. Keeping it for the garage decor.

Interesting!

ingrid,
KEWL~!
What a neat treasures you've discovered....
That's a life-style I'll bet most of us never gave a thought...(for the use of our trailers)..
Wouldn't it be something if you could 'trace it' back~
Did you have the "bearded lady"??, you reckon??

ciao

Yikes! I have three kids in my family who hate clowns! But I'm definitely keeping them or doing some research...when I have time, HA!

Hi.
I think I might know what the route cards are.
They are the diffrent grounds the circus would camp on.
I have an old book on circus and it refers to routes as the camping area where the big top would be put up, we call them grounds in U.k.
Hope this helps pictishell
