I have had three kids in the last 4 years. Took a job where I was out of town. Moved back home and have been pretty much unemployed for the last two years. It really has not been a priority to look into this. I have just now gotten back around to it. But, what is it any of your business that I have to explain my personal life to you when you keep crying about privacy and I have not invaded anyones privacy.

Again, I will beat a dead horse, I NEVER CAME HERE TO LOOK FOR SOMEONES PERSONAL INFO. Nor will I be revealing anyones info here.

What business is it of yours how long it takes for me to locate someone, 4yrs 10yrs or whatever? Seems like you are quick to judge someone and are incinuating things that are not true and are prying into my privacy as I am being made to feel as I have to explain every single detail and my whole life story.

Again. Simple deal here. I found trailer. I like trailer. I post about trailer. Time goes by. I find out a little more about trailer. I have busy life. More time goes by. Now I have some time. I start to look back into trailer. I find out more about trailer. I post about trailer again. You incinuate I want to steal and am invading peoples privacy.

no 1 is asking for YOUR life story or personal info.

and nothing in these posts attacks YOU either.

but you have indicated several times the goal is FINDING the owners name and address.

if u r just ANNOUNCING that goal so be it.

so what's the point?

apparently NO one here has that info...

and IF they do, i'm suggesting it should NOT be shared in cyberspace.

and if you are just posting about your dream stream adventure, best of luck with that !

cheers

Well this is an interesting thread and it has many good points on personal privacy and an individual trying to seek information on a trailer. Maybe it's time to let the information settle in and let the evening pass.

did dmv know this trailer was owned by a business? the privacy laws might be different for a commercially owned vehicle.

I dont recall seeing what state youre in Captndavie...In WI, if you have a VIN you can call your local deputy, they can run the number and tell you if it was stolen...IF youre nice, they might even tell you who it is/was registred to. Since this trailer isnt OLD in DMV terms. The registration info could possibly be available. If it was owned by a radio station, Id find out the station call letters, do some digging through the FCC and find the station owner/company. That IS public information. Im sure you could find someones name associated with it. Since it looks like youve had access to the inside, look for ANY scraps of paper with either station call letters, names associated with the station, or addresses...
If youd like some help let me know, it might be kinda fun!
None of what if suggested above is creepy by most peoples standards... :-)

CaptNDavie...ran into a similar situation with an Argosy I found sitting in the woods, run down and in bad shape. Neighbors hadn't seen anyone in it for years...only knew they were from out of state. I noticed an old electric panel on a post, not hooked up, called the electric company with the meter number. They in turn contacted the out of state owner and mentioned someone was interested in their trailer. Owner called me back and we are not negotiating. Could be as simple as that. Good luck with your search.

Bob
