Tim,

I take it your talking about the lastest posts on the home page? If so, would you rather see the complete title or the body of the last post? Anybody else want to chime in on this?

See now your giving me too many choices ;-)

Either sounds good. I like complete title idea, but the last post would be cool too!

Let the debate begin...

Last post is my vote. The author of the last post is already on screen.

The complete "last post" would be very cool. But I'd still like to see a wider space for the subject titles -- the current space is so short we get a lot of subjects like "Looking for information on ..." and "Help! Need to get a fr...."

This software is really evolving and looking good. Best I have seen yet. One suggestion that I do have is that when you click on one of the random pictures on the home page, that it opens in a new window. I don't know about anyone else, but I get distracted looking at pictures, and want to get right back to where I was.

Thanks!

Rich,

I agree, I'll look into concatenating the member names and making the titles longer. Right now there is a lot of space for the member names because some members have really long names and it was causing the line to wrap...

Porky,

I can see some pixilation in your avatar, but it is only when you really look close. It should not have been effected by the software upgrade. I did not touch any of the actual image files. You may want to try re-exporting it with less compression since it is a jpeg and the reupload it.

Organic Andy I just noticed that the word count feature from the old format is gone in the PM section. I think the limit is still 2000 bytes. That counter sure helped to know how much to trim when one went over the limit.

Is that a possible add back in the near future?

Also what is the status of the recent searches listing feature?

Lastly for now could you explain the Guided Mode vs Enhanced Mode buttons above this posting box?

Thanks
jaco

Send a message via AIM to Pick
I noticed in the PM section, that there is no reply button. You can however click on the persons name and get a drop down menu and sending them a message is one of the options.

How do you change the quote in your avatar, e.g. Rivet master or other quote?

Ken,
Click on User CP, Then edit options. The box titled custom user title is where you can change the title. The Avatar is on another link. To do that click Edit avatar.

Remember to scroll down to the bottom and click save changes when you are done or you will not affect the user profile.
