Try clearing your browser's cache. Not sure where that setting is in Safari though... Good luck!

Anyone else experience this with Safari?

thread ratings?

How do I view thread ratings for other threads? This thread shows a rating but others don't. Am I missing something?

A thread won't have a rating unless several people have dominated it. You can rate a thread at the top right hand border under the "Rate Thread" tab (if not yet rated) or "Rating" tab if it is.

I think it would be great if we all rated threads as we read them. It will allow us to find all the best content easier over time.

Anyone else seen this?

When I go to a new thread, I want to see the first post first. Instead I see the last post first.

I have gone to User CP, Edit Options, Thread Display Options, Thread Display Mode, and selected Linear - Oldest First. It still displays the newest first.

If you select "Forum" , then from Forum select "Search" function, you'll see an "Advance Search" click on this. From here you can select the order of posting that you wish to review..Try it~

Thanks for the idea, but that seems to order the threads. I want to go to the first post in the thread (the top of the screen).

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. I start at the Home page, then under "Latest Fourm Topics" I click on the title of a thread. At that point, I end up viewing the most recent post. I'd prefer to view the oldest post in threads I've not viewed before, and the last post I've viewed in threads to which I am returning.

Here is a snapshot of the screen where I think I am setting my preferences:

Okay, I went to "User Control Panel", the "edit options" under "settings and options", and the default is "Linear - Oldest First" under "Thread Display Mode" (scroll about halfway down if you are still with me on this).

However, like Edie G, my thread windows also display the last post first at the bottom of the page, instead of the first unviewed post.

She appears to be using Explorer with Windows, and I'm using Safari.

I still have the content saved in the database. I am looking at installing a review system that would let us review campgrounds, Airstream Parks, products (such as appliances, htiches, brake controllers, etc). If I install that software, I'll port the info over to that program.

Since we got our '71 Safari yesterday, I figured I'd change my user profile to make a note of that fact. I went to the drop down which asks what type of AS I have, picked the appropo selection, clicked submit, and got an error that said I "forgot to enter my gender" Uh, well, not that it is all that important, but it isn't all that relevant, and nobody's business either. Or maybe it wants the trailer's gender? Why is that of all fields required? Maybe I just need to learn more about navigating these forums.
