A while ago, (couple of years actually), there was a lot of talk about a Forum Emblem and Sticker so we could spot each other on the road. Did that ever come to fruition? If so, where could I find one. If not, it still sounds like a good idea to me.

Yep I read that thread. Nobody ever dicided anything. Was hoping that a new one might actually generate something.

The previous version had been approved by Airstream legal (very long process), then changes were recommended after running by forums members. ... back to Airstream legal I suspect.

I just appreciate Andy and Jack Canavera and whoever else had the perseverance. Three cheers!!

Hi Andy et al -

Thanks for the persiverance in getting these done. I know that since I got my receiver step with the AS logo, that I have been getting plenty of Thumbs Up from truckers and cars passing me, at the gas station, etc....

The Forum stickers should just add to the "Thumbs Up" factor. I want at least 4 - let me know when they are out. Maybe I should get 6? Is there a Forums name change coming up.... or can you tell me??? Thinking collectable!

Anyway, thanks again Andy and Jack C. and anyone else that has shepparded this through....

I managed to cabbage on to a couple of the old AIR oval stickers when they were made up by that masked man....(what was his name?????) before he hollered "Hi HO Silver....Away!"
Several people have stopped me over the past months and asked me about the meaning of the AIR sticker.
It's fun to have a way to recognize another person infected with Alunimitus.

Stickers sound like a great idea! If you need help having them made, I have a part interest in a sign shop that specializes in stickers....any size, any quantity! I will do them AT COST! Send me a sample of what you are talking about and I'll get a quote ASAP!

Lew the stickers are produced and in house at this point. Andy is working on the ordering system so that we can efficiently handle the orders with a minimum of work. I'll be doing the shipping side since we had the decals produced here in St. Louis.

The decals will come in two different colors. One is the white lettering on the clear backer. This really looks great on the tinted windows and is the choice I made for my trailer and tow vehicle. For those without the tinted windows or where the contrast on the mounting surface is minimal, we also made some with blue lettering and a white backer. Airstream requested that the blue match their corporate blue color. Once we get this ready, we will post the official announcement and pictures.

Hi all -

Guess that I have to double my order after getting a decription of the stickers, since I have both high and low contrast windows.... Plus and extra or 2.... and if I ever change TV.... or trailer..... or???

Yikes, I could have a whole run of stickers to myself if I let this spiral out of hand! Oh well, $ to a good cause! Having trouble thinking of a better one...!

I'll put in an order in as soon as they are available: at least two of each style, maybe more. Don't usually want decals, but I'm looking forward to getting these!
