Focus Group to Meet next week -- are you IN???

Andy, the ASForums owner, would like several of us to set up a chat schedule, several times, for next week where several of us can be a focus group to help him with some ideas for improving this forum, etc. He asked me to get out a request to all of us.

Who is interested?

I am available, most easily, after 8 in the evening most any evening.

What other times are best and who is interested in helping out??

I can make myself available all I need to know is date and time. More advance notice the better.

A program of scheduled open chats could prove to be benefiical to all - Just need time and date. Individual initiatives should prevail.

I just got this from Andy:

"... Lets set a time later this week. Maybe Weds.or Thursday in the
evening, you decide and I will be there...

I would really like to get feedback on the best use for the chat room. I
think having a nightly chat would be best. Like every night at 8:00 est.
Maybe wecould have different topics each night. Like Mondays could be
weekend debreifing and camping tip trade. Tuesday could be a different
topic. Of course having a nightly chat with no topic might be better since
people will talk about what they please anyway! What about a twice weekly
newbies lounge meeting? I could sendevery new registered member a
notification about the meetings.

The focus group feedback on features, etc. is also needed. I added a
new "home page" interface that I need to make a bit more user friendly. As
well as any other usability issues.

Talk to you soon,"

Andy

How about Wed. and Thurs. evenings, both. In the Chat room; at 9 p.m. eastern. What do all the rest of you think.

I can attend both, unless some real estate client needs me, which is unlikely.

I like the idea of "open" chat room times, topics posted, so those of us that want to partake will know when. Maybe we could post the transcript afterwards if enough are interested.

I like the idea of topic related and posted in advance. Then perhaps, in addition, each night an open chat which could be opened at the same time in another window (we'd have to have the software set up to allow us to chat in two windows at once I guess. OR, we could have open chat after the topic chat.... Just ideas...

Well.... will anyone be on-line for the chat!!!
