Wink First trip sleeping in the A/S

Well i leave in the morning on a trip from Myrtle Beach,Sc, to Dallas, Tex. I will have a 7 day stopover in Mississippi for the Cruisin the Coast streetrod affair. Then on to Big D. I am looking forward to breaking the ice on A/Sing. Should be an interesting site, with my using a Hummer ( H2) as a tow vehicle. Will take tons of pictures for future posting. PJ

first trip ?

I woke up early, so I decided to take off. I guess it was way too early,as I forgot to unplug my power cord. I got 20 miles down the road before someone pulled me over. Now I get to have breakfast , and wait for Camping World to open. Hope this is not an indicator of things to come. PJ

Shucks, I did about the same thing at home. Gave me a chance to improve the electrical entrance to the trailer. Some gfood comes from most mishaps.

Wink My Trip in A/S

Well its been 2 weeks since I started on my first trip in the A/S. To sum it up, it was a ball!! I went to the cruisin the coast street rod show ,on the gulf coast of Mississippi. Counted 8 A/S on the way there, and about 6,000 street rods. First night out was a stop that was just a plugin( not to cool). The second stop was a lot better(KOA), in Bay St. Louis, stayed 7 nights. While there I visited the RV park at the Magic Casino in Bay St. Louis, was it ever nice! I found out it was cheaper too, but sold out for the week. Then on to Dallas for a week, parked in front of her house, and borrowed a little current. While there,I brought my A/S to North Dallas RV, that some had complemented on this forum. They were so nice and accomodating with the minor problems I had,I wish I were closer so I could use them in the future. Trip back was uneventful, and only counted 4 A/S.
