Favorite Pandora Station
We love to listen to Pandora while driving. My favorite is the Summer Breeze station, my husband likes Brewer and Shipley. What stations do you listen to?

I have a well-tuned station that started with Steely Dan that's my favorite. Pandora even sent me an email a few days ago pointing out that I listened to that station the most last year. In addition to Steely Dan I seeded it with Boz Scaggs, Little River Band, Supertramp and Warren Zevon.

I know, you use it to cover up the noise of the Heat Pump, right? (big grin, inside joke).
Although I like music now and then, my favorite station is OFF.

An on-demand streaming music service that builds a personalized station based on what it learns about your musical taste.
You can test it at pandora.com
Pandora isn't available outside the US, I use rdio up here in Canada. I have several stations I like and listen to, from bluegrass to classical.

These days, more often than not (at least when away from the house), I use it to cover the sounds of cursing at screws I can't find or rivets that are hard to access holding something together in the 28'...
Happily I own no heat pumps and have no plans to change that.

We love pandora. My kids all have a favorite. I like to play the appropriate music for our diner. If we are having Italian it is Italian music, Mexican for Mexican, and so on.

That is what I love about Pandora - you can really set the mode for dinner! I just love to see what other people like to listen to so I will think about trying some other stations that I wouldn't have thought of before. Jim, if you have an Android or iPhone, you can download the app. You can find any kind of music that you want from big band to classical to jazz to whatever! It is really great to listen to music that you choose and love, plus it is free.

Pandora drives out the RWMIMS.
Working at Wal*Mart we suffer from RWMIMS (Repetitive Workplace Music Induced Mental Stress). They will stick a 2 hour long CD on the intercom system and let it play for 3 or 4 months straight. Same songs everyday for months on end, let me witness here Brothers and Sisters it's Brutal and Abusive. Don't need to wear a watch anymore, Clock in at Miley Cyrus, first break is at Miley Cyrus, go to lunch at Miley Cyrus, last break at Miley Cyrus, clock out to go home to Pandora at Miley Cyrus. My Pandora list you ask? Here you go. I shuffle The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Foghorn Stringband, Jack White, Jimmie Rodgers, Les Claypool, Mofro, Neil Young, Shinyribs, The Barn Owl Band, The Blind Boys of Alabama, The Devil Makes Three, The Gourds, The Wilders, Tom Waits, Trampled By Turtles. My apologies to Miley Cyrus who didn't make the cut.

Yes, The Devil Makes Three is one that Pandora threw at me because it was similar to a band already on my list. Once I heard it I added them to my list, that's the cool thing about Pandora, always tossing something different at you. Never know what's next.

Pandora Update
I just added Eilen Jewell to my Pandora play list. Pandora threw me a good one with her, sounds like she walked right out of a 1950's Honky Tonk.

I just sampled some of her stuff on Amazon. Sounds like the soundtrack for a Tarantino movie, I'm gonna have to buy some.

Our favorite Pandora station is Rene Moffatt. He just released his new single, King of the Mountain, which can be previewed on Bandcamp.com

I love a variety of music and for that reason, pandora is wonderful. I'm into Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Garth Brooks, Carpenters, Phil Collins, Leslie Gore, James Taylor, Todd Rundgren, Smooth Jazz - I guess for me anything from 40's thru 70's. My dad gave me a great appreciation for music and there was never a time we didn't have music playing in the house. Music will always set the mood!
