My wife cannot start her day without knowing the temperature outside. And, if I can tell her what it is likely to be during the day, so much the better. For Christmas this year, we got an indoor/outdoor thermometer that also gives us the barometric pressure; what it has been for the past 24 hours; and what the weather is going to be within the next six hours. What a delight! It also has a weather warning on it - something we had failed to notice until it started beeping (very loudly) at 12:30 A.M. because the barometric pressure had nearly dropped off the page and tornado warnings were up all around us. Nothing happened but it was nice to know that we had some extreme weather going on. We keep it in a very prominate spot where it can be seen constantly. It has a little button to backlight the numbers after dark. It also has a clock, tells the date and has an alarm that can be set. Very handly little devil that is used several times every day. We really like the visual that shows us the upcoming weather - sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rain or even snow. Very cool!!!

Pilgrim,

So, what make and model is the thermometer? It sounds like a neat toy that I should have in stock as well. A surprise birthday present from my cat would be the way to get it without being in too much trouble

We have found this to be one of our most favorite gadgets for our AS.

It's great because it matches our AS and gets used every day at 4:00 for Happy Hour!

I agree with the aforementioned gadgets like:

1. wine/beer opener
2. Hose Quick-Connectors (Brass)
3. Inside/Outside temperature station
And I’ll add a couple of my favorite things:
  • XM Radio
  • Garden hose adapter to drain the Grey Tank! JB

Too many favorites

Hard to limit the choice to just one, but here's a "short" list:

-"Hitching Sticks" (those magnetic hitching rods: they are awesome!)
-Velcro (wide, heavy-duty adhesive, and two-sided strap types)
-Garmin Nuvi 350 gps
-Honda 2000 gen set

And 2 homemade gadgets:
-copper-tipped plastic tube for starting/reviving campfire
-pigtail "cap" for activating running lights in camp without towing veh.

Isn't that neat how it matches!!! We're with you on this one! But... uh... 4:00 for Happy Hour???? You mean we don't have to wait for 5:00???

I can't remember the name right now but it's a curved hitch plate that bolts right onto hitch ball/receiver and lets me back in and hook up all by myself. My leatherman juice is probably my favorite all around gadget, it's a corkscrew, pliers, wire cutter, screwdrivers, saw, scissors/cigar cutter, knife, beer/bottle cap opener, fingernail cleaner/cutter and it's small enough to easily fit in my pocket without dragging my pants down. My kids gave it to me for father's day a few years ago and I never leave home without it.

I know you really like your M-Ball Richard. I do too and am glad you have it but you've already mentioned it in this thread.
