Duct tape. Won't leave home without it. It's held important camping stuff together on trips since our tenting days, including our tents. . .and still comes in handy once in a while with Gypsy. Word of warning--don't leave dt on the surface of your Airsteam any longer than absolutely necessary. There would be some who would say never to use it, but when you need it, you'll be glad you have it! ~G

Well, I don't know about you, but I get pretty excited about my black tank as do a few other (to remain unnamed) NEU members.

You can easily figure out who we are (especially if you get caught behind us in the dump station line) because we are the ones that take the longest time at the dump station!

We pride ourselves on having almost-like-new black tanks!

That's a tough one ... I'm torn ... either a bottle opener or a corkscrew, depending on whether I'm a beer or wine kinda mood.

Your answer does not count. Both items are essentials and thus not gadgets.

Yuki,
Notice I used the word sanitize, not normally part of my vocabulary while my hands are in any area below the belly skin. I'll go alng with clean, fresh as a daisy.

One of my other favorites is my multitude of brass hose quick connects. I've installed them on every hose and port on the Airstream. These make quick work of hook ups after dark. They are also great when I go back and forth between garden hose spayer and the black tank flush port. I even have one on my Flush King (one of my other favorite gadgets) to make hook up a breeze.

Lot's of light, don't have to carry it, and my wife thinks I'm a geek but surprisingly she wears my cap when she's heading off to somewhere in the campground in the dark rather than carry a flashlight. It cost $15 bucks at the local RV store.

In an attempt to conceal my geekiness, I have one that clips discretely under the brim of my hat (it's curved to follow the contour the brim). Flashlights are my favorite gadgets, and I have one for every occacion. The latest is an aircraft grade aluminum light with six LED bulbs-one green, one blue, one red, and three white. Each color has a separate switch.

Lemon and Lime squeezer/juicer thingy from William Sonoma. It allows us to make the perfect Margarita.

Marital harmony must be maintained .....

..... there are no "gadgets"

..... but I do have a few "essential tools" and "indispensable aids"
