Favorite Camping Activity

OK, first, let's keep it clean!

But, I was curious. Other than giving tours of your rigs to the curious, eating, drinking, hanging out with your friends and talking the night way, what are some of your favorite AS camping activiites?

We like to be "out" away from home for 2-3 weeks at a time....especially in the summer. Tucson gets warm

We read, drink, and eat enjoy our family (cat and dog) and discuss politics--luckily with each other.

Part of the equation is that we are late 60's in age and arthritis plays a role here.

Jealous

As a son of the South, I grew up listening to gospel, country, and blue grass music. I love the banjo. So jealous of your campsite getting to listen to you.

My wife is still laughing after listening to the Camp Troubadors (?) CD we got with our Airstream owner's materials.

Favorite activity

Getting it level; front to back, side to side, checking it once, checking it twice....got to get that bubble just right.

No, really.... making coffee that first morning.

No, wait! .... waking up to coffee already made.

Wait! I know... at our age; just waking up.

Wait... I knooow, turning out the last 12v light.

Sometimes just being "away from it all".
Sometimes it's the friends or family I'm with.
Sometimes the activities: Kayaking, fishing, bicycling, etc.
Sometimes all of the above combined, and more.

Question?

I enjoy answering questions about Airstreams from other curious campers.

Forgot to mention the extracurricular activity rules

We do have rules concerning camping trips.

Rule 1. Activity level during camping shall not be sufficient enough as to cause the campees (that's us) to need a day of rest to recover from said camping.

Rule 2. If time packing + time unpacking from camping meets or exceeds 1.7% of total time camped; campees will be required to take 1 day rest to reassess master packing list & revisit the question "why is it taking so long to get out'a here?"

Rule 3. Campees should maintain an awareness of & discuss (at least once) the ABCs for camping: A. relaxation, B. to forget about customers who wonder how much profit we made on their transaction, C. to relax enough to forget that we did not have any transactions.

Taking the old roads that run adjacent to the Interstates.
Camping in a really busy truck stop.
Talking about camping with other RVers.

Shameless Plug:
You can do all of these things or less at the Four Corners Rally.
Now I have to find a banjo player.........
