I always bring my mandolin....sometimes a banjo

And sometimes ............when I get home from camping........I can't go inside for a few hours. I get the grill going and pick a few songs just to decompress, before I go back to living in the so called real world.

Lucky...

Dave,

I love the mandolin. My wife and I got to hear the Montana Mandolin Society concert in Bozeman, MT a few years ago with her mother. Walked away with two CDs!

Look forward to meting ya on the road somewhere and listening to you pick and grin a little.

JERRY

1- switch "off" the cell phone.
2- enjoy the sound of no phones ringing.

I like the driving part quite a bit because I have the comforts of the AS whenever and whereever I stop for however long that might be. I like seeing the terrain, flora and weather change. I think it is the coolest thing to experience change so quickly on a days drive. Once planted I like exploring and seeing the locals.

My favorite camping time is spent hiking, taking pictures and just enjoying being around a great campsite with a view.

Putting the canoe in the water and paddling across a clear, cool lake to find the perfect fishing hole. Drop a line in the water, open a beer and kick back to admire our Airstream from a distance.

What could be more perfect?
