Essex should be able to tell you how to get that done, since I'm sure they have standards for whose inspections they will honor. Search on here, and on Google in general, for Airstream Appraisals. You want someone who is Airstream-knowledgeable since they hold their value better than most other RVs.
With boats (called a survey), the gentleman's agreement is if something significant is found that would cause you not to buy the unit, the seller pays for the inspection. Otherwise, the buyer pays. Failure for the value to meet the sellers price might be a negotiating point, but the buyer would still pay.
