Do You Show Your True (Red, White, and Blue) Colors?

I have always flown my flag (albeit small) from the front of my trailer hitch and was wondering how many others do too. It has been a tradition for my friends as well to fly theirs on the hitch. Is this a mid west thing?

Gwen,

I have been camping for over 30 years, with and without an Airstream...(still without at the moment) We ALWAYS have and always will have an American Flag flying at our campsite! Even if we have to rig a halyard from a tree. BTW Deep South!...y'all

Thumbs up Timely subject ...

We've always flown Old Glory in front of our house ... as well as the California State flag ... and the Irish flag on St. Patrick's Day (only 5 more shopping days! )

Since we're newbies at Streaming ... what's the deal with those flag poles and holders advertised in the back of the BB? Is that what most folks use?

Porky, those flagpoles can hold:
1- American flag
2-(your state here) flag
3-special interest flag
We have one coming, our "special interest" flag is an old Airstream/Argosy dealer flag, you can put out seasonal or holiday flags there, too
Another special interest flag would be a WBCCI type flag, or something like it, if you are into that.
And, may I be the first to wish you a happy St. Patty's day!

Do You Show Your True (Red, White, and Blue) Colors?

While my family was never in the habit of displaying flags when we had Brand X trailers, one of my first purchases after acquiring the Airstream Overlander was a Pole Ease flag holder and three-telescoping-poles. I wa happy that I had purchased the outfit when I participated in my first Wagon Wheels Caravan in 1999 - - the photo below is typical of Caravans and Rallys that I have attended:

My Minuet now has a similar setup - - three flags almost make Mini feel like she is getting ready to take flight during windy days.
