Discount cards..What's in your wallet?

We are planning a trip and started looking at various discount programs for campgrounds, like Good Sams (got that one!), Passport America (got that too!), AARP, Camp America, Choice Camping etc. There are others out there as well. How many of these do we need? Which ones work the best in your part of the country?
Some have restrictions like no Thurs., Fri., Sat. or are only good for one night.
Toooo much input!!! HELP!!

Location location location

We have passport which is an awesome deal, Half price at their partner CG's. First two night stay pays for the year pass. Only drawback, they are not located as densly as KOA or Good Sams

KOA is almost everywhere. Their card at 10% will pay the taxes typically. About 3 or 4 uses to break even. 12 bucks includes magazine and other discounts, like car rental, internet etc..

Good Sams, twelve bucks, magazine, located everywhere. Comes with free, one night camping fees. That is clearly profitable.

Total cost of (3) 1 year cards, about 80 dollars.

For a full timer, the way to go. for the part timer, choose your battles. I recommend the KOA based on location.

Thumbs up Coast to Coast

Some might not consider this to be a discount but..I've found it works nicely`! Cost to stay is minimum (last I checked, around 6$ per night) compared to some of the others. Plus, it almost always a gated, private setting. Which, at times, is a nice feeling to enjoy
There are numerous (?) Airstream only parks out there as well. Most, I believe, require that you be a member of WBCCI.
Depending on where your headed..each area of the country has it's own local favor for discounts. If you use google to search the web under the headings of snow-bird, you can find even more info`!
for example:snowbird

Indeed

Them Airtsream only parks are CLASSY. Would you expect anything less from the WBCCI?

I agree, if the park is located in your travel path, it is worth it to go a little out of the way. Unfortunately there are not as many parks as we would like there to be.

What a deal, four point hookups, and a museum of Airstreams.

I know of folks that literally full time in these parks because it is so inexpensive. I will be retiring in one of these parks. I have seen folks, stay in the northward CGs in the summer and move to sunny FLA in the winter.

Try to find a place to retire for 150 a month with all utilities.
Come on retirement...........................

We use KOA and AAA discounts, been happy with both. KOA paid for itself last year on a trip from NC to AZ doing a delivery. I would love to visit an AS only park, thought about setting up a small one here but we are wayyyyy off the beaten path.
