Dexter brake installation on 1988 excella

I had an actibrake that failed. They are no longer in business so I purchased the Dexter 1600 E/H for my 1988 Excella airstream. The problem I have is that the Dexter has four wires and the harness coming from the tounge of the trailer has five wires. I understand that the black goes to black ,white to white, the yellow wire to the breakaway switch, blue to blue. However when I do this there are two extra wires- a brown and an orange. Where do these connect to?

Really??
108 views and no one can help or offer advice?I figured I would just cap the extra wires and go from there.

What do the instructions say about these two wires?

Is that the trailer umbilical you are referencing, with a left and right turn signal? Probably not

From the manual...

White - Ground
Blue - Brake
Green - Running Lights
Black - Charge Line (+)
Red - Stop & Left Turn
Brown - Stop & Right Turn
Yellow - Back-Up Light
Gray - Refrigerator Switch
Orange - Tire-Tele

When I replaced the trailer plug the wiring went as follows. (7 Pin Blade connector)

Looking at the face of the plug with the key @ 12 o'clock, clockwise from the key.

Black, Brown, Blue, White, Red, Green and the center is Yellow.

This is the way the trailer was wired when I got it and all I did was replace the plug. All systems appear to work correctly, YMMV

I believe that the wires he is talking about are on the brake actuator and not the trailer plug.
