Destin FL Topsail campground

I read the review can anyone who has stayed there recommend any particular spots?
I was interested in the loop closest to the beach path 1001-1019.

I flet like all the sites were nice. Well landscaped and that added to a more private feel. The place is not that big so no matter where you are its not far from the pool or beach walk. The beach path though is about a mile from the start to the beach itself. They offer a shuttle too.
The only other tip I have is that there is little or no shopping really close by, so if you want groceries and such, you will need to travel a bit.

The park is top notch for a state park! I think it was private and the state bought it. Anyway, they have built a new shopping plaza several miles from the park, so now there is a grocery store. I have only a few pictures, but you can see what it's like...

Looking at the pictures, my parents had their 30' in site 33-it backed up to the "lake" near the pool.

Looks good

The spot numbers I referred to were actually cabin spots, woops!
We are going to give Topsail a try. We have stayed at Holiday travel Park in the past nice but crowded, St. George the last two years loved it , beach was nice ,water just not as pretty.
Plus it is closed until May based on its web site due to storm damage.
That leaves St Andrews and Henderson and Topsail on the short list.
I am leaning towards Topsail even though we thought the other two were nice when we stayed at them.
I guess Topsail is it just because we want to try someplace new.
Thanks Fivegreers and ALANSD for the information.

Henderson Beach SP is great too...

IF you decide to do Topsail, take the short drive into Destin and check out Henderson. It is really nice!! I am going there with my pop up club next month-they are coming to play in my backyard this time- . Out of Topsail, St. Andrews and Henderson, I'd rate them:
1. Topsail
2. Henderson
3. St. Andrews
At any of these, you'll be enjoying some of the most beautiful beaches around, so you win anyways!

I was at Topsail last May for 3 days and thought, I have to come back. Well I booked 7 days for early April in #91. This spot is open, on a corner and it appears like you have your own private yard with gardens. Any spot in the horseshoe area looks nice. I can't wait, have fun...

Topsail

I liked going there also.We got in slot #72 but it was in an open area. Here is a pic of where we were.We took our bikes and rode around checking the place out(As we always do so when we go back to a campground we can get a really good spot.)and had seen some spots that turned out pretty nice.I though the Palm circle area was really good around the #144 slot to about #127 along the west side of the circle. The opposite side of that road was also good. Also the showers are nearby so it is easier to get to unlike where we were and had to drive to get there.
