Have you just tried contacting a Mobile Home mover? They should be able to hook up and go. A good, bonded and insured mover will be able to take care of any paper involved. You probably only need a paper temporary tag. In Texas we get those from the Department of Public Safety for a few bucks, if we even bother.

Virginia,
I vaguely remember seeing an advertisement for a towing company on ebay when I bought my Excella. You might check their website because they had a number of services where you could have someone check out a vehicle you wanted to bid on for any maintenance problems. I think they mentioned a towing/shipping company as one of their services.
