Isadora has been my screen name for ten years or more, I just picked it because I liked it, and then she became a dragon, and the logo for my business, Isadora the beady-eyed dragon. I still use it everywhere.

I've always enjoyed fishing off shore in the Gulf of Mexico, living only 1 1/2 miles from it, for Red Snapper, Cobia, Grouper, Tuna, Wahoo, etc. But my wife, JJ, always would get sea sick. So, we purchased the Overlander. So, over land & sea, we both can now have a good time. I guess she's "Overlander" & I'm "Sea". I think she would like it if I would sale the boat & change the name to Overlander & See.

Fun thread....

Mine describes my affliction, 64 being the year I came off Ma&Pa's assembly line. ( I'm the last model they produced)

So I guess that makes you a rare, collectible, one-of-a-kind, limited edition...

When I started on the forum we had an SOB trailer and I was real interested in Airstreams and learning more. Since I love all recreation vehicles and different cars and trucks and being on the road, I thought wheel interested would about say it all for anything that would roll.

Chip off the old block

The scary part is that there are two…
Senior & Jr.

Martin.
(we don’t talk about what the E stands for)

ps Elsewhere, I have occasionally used LessMundane.
Wish I had started using it here.

no... thats General Ripper as my avatar... one of my top 10 fav movies 'Dr. Strangelove. Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb'

absolutely... smoking thread... counteract the 'no smoking' thread... he he

thanks.. the '67 ambassador was before my time... i transfered an old Super8 film of my fam vacationing in miami.. we've not located any pix of it, so I did a screen grab...

but I remember the '76 sovereign a ton (my dad sold it sometime 'round '82)... all my memories are travelling with that a/s... when we decided to start RV'ing- i just couldn't bring myself to buy an SOB... thats my youngest brother sitting in the Ford Econoline... we needed a maxivan to transport all 12 of us.. the awning had an aftermarket screened in porch that some of us would sleep out in... even though we had mid-ship twin bunks.. it still only slept ~8

Mine is a meld of my last name (MacKenzie) and my husband's nickname, which comes from his last name.

Interesting. I read this resurrected thread from the beginning, thought I had replied to it at some point, but evidently not. When I joined, I tried the obvious 64Overlander, and Overlander64 – both were taken. My user name is actually a nickname one of my employees gave my TV. I’ll let you figure out why.
