20,000 volt gloves!

Gee - that'll keep you warm in the winter
Seriously - big thumbs up to you electrical guys - keeps my house lit at night in the middle of winter.

I'm an RN, I dug the trenches, ran some (outside rated) wire in conduit, hung the junction boxes, and called in the pros for hooking everything for my outside garden fountain. The electrician said everything looked great - hooked my right up. Asked me what I do - I told him. His reply, "Yup, people think they can do anything just by reading a book - I wouldn't do heart surgury just because I read about it!" I remember this often

Name's pretty boring - everyone's name in the family starts with "M" - actually it should be "4 M's (+2M pets)", but a slip of the send button - and that's where I'm at! I haven't told my little one that I momentarly forgot about her. 75 Argosy says it all.

Mine is the name I used for my sailboat some years ago. It is Sioux for "White Crane", which fit the sailboat perfectly. I picked it from a Sioux-English dictionary with the help of a Sioux friend.

The sailboat was sold 22 years ago, but I just got used to using the name on the net.

I'm not a pharmacist or a psychologist, but my name is Zachariah but I go by Zach or Xak. My car sports a personalized license plate PROXAK since I take BART into work, my car is strictly for fun and getting me out of here, so itís my anti-depressant for the blues and the blahs. Once I have my very own AS, itíll sport a license plate that says PROXAK2!!

My nickname is just a reference to a lyric from a Bonnie Raitt song. I started using it as a screen name many years ago. I have gotten all kinds of lewd remarks and questions about it (none here though.)

Poor Poor Royal :(

My name has a two-fold meaning.

First, I live in Port Royal, PA. So I just changed a few letters, and Wa La!

Secondly, I have always seemed to like/want things that are out of my price range You know, like Porche's and stuff....

(What's the saying... Champagne taste and something something something?)

For example: I loved Airstreams long before I knew they cost as much as houses. I had no IDEA they were so expensive. In the beginning, I actually thought they "might" even be cheaper than SOBs... LOL LOL LOL

Disclaimer: I also went by Silver on here for awhile, but since there are obviously quite a few "Silver" names, I decided to change it to coordinate all my names to be the same on all my message boards.

And that's the truth!

1947 is the year listed on my trailer's motor vehicle title documents, of which I have copies going back to 1962. I don't know why "Ruby" was first registered as a 1947 trailer, but she was so I'm sticking with it. The Wee Wind's model year is 1948, consistent with the 1-08-48 build date stamped into her original butane tank (kept for looks only) and the 2-26-48 date handwritten on the original upholstery tags, making her 1947 registration year a deeper mystery. But having been born in 1947 myself, it obviously was a very good year for vintage artificats so is doubly appropriate for my screen name. I'm looking forward to Ruby and I aging gracefully together, but expect she'll keep her trim good looks longer than I.
