My husband was in the Navy and grew up on the east coast sailing with his grandfather. It only seemed natural to name our land going vessel for good luck so it is the SS Crib. SS stands for SweetStream.

I chose EasyStreamer88 for my username. It's a combination of the movie title Easyrider because I'm a biker and I'm an Air Streamer with an '88 345 Motorhome. I am full-timing and aside from my motorhome my Harley is my only transportation. I live in the motorhome and I try to never stay in one town (or state for that matter) for more than a couple of months at a time. I am a biker but due to a severe back injury I am not going to be riding 500 miles in a day and sleeping on the ground at night. I don't even drive the Airstream 500 miles in a day. So, that's me, EasyStreamer88

Nothing original here. It's just what I do to pay for our Airstream fun.

I taught math in the high school for 37 years. Always wanted to travel in an Airstream "after math". My wife is a retired dental hygienist but "after teeth" just didn't have the same ring.

I actually spelled mine wrong, if you will... should have been "Strandski". My maiden name is Strand, and this is actually what my high school driver's ed teacher (from MANY years ago) would call me. He was also the football coach, so he always had to have nicknames for people.

"Slow down there, Strandski, this isn't a race ya know!!"

Road Geezer

I'm that smiling grey haired guy in your rear view mirror pulling an Airstream--Iggy by name--with our wheezing, over-the-hill Suburban ... If the Sub didn't have a widshield, I'd have bugs in my teeth. Life's a hoot !
As far as I know, this is the oldest I've ever been.

Forums Names

When I moved to my tiny ranch'ita in the boonies SW of Austin & built my dream retirement home & barn, a friend insisted my land & home just had to have a name. She came up with Whitsend.

Whits - Part of my last name, End - She thinks I'll die on this land.
She just might be right.

For as long as I have been reading this Forum (my God the hours!!!!), can't believe I only stumbled on this thread today & read the whole great story. Thanks to all.
I love that old time rock & roll.

Couldn't think of anything clever - just used the tow vehicle's licence plate.

Got our Airstream when the kids flew the nest...but our "kidsgone" should be changed to "kids came back, moved in with us, but have jobs and pay rent, saving $ to move out", but thats to long .......oh well, we're still spending their inheritance

I figured mine would be obvious from my signature pic, but maybe not to those not into bikes.

My current motorcycle is an 1800cc Honda GoldWING.

The last part of my nickname relates to the fact that my good lady wife often reminds me that I am no longer a "Spring chicken!" some might say a Geezer. Concocted this name when I got the latest bike in 2006.

"Cloudsplitter".....Native American translation referencing the Adirondack area of NYS, our favorite camping area.

Just seemed appropriate.
