withidl = 5 by 2
When I worked for Texaco Lubricants in the IT group, the logonid "standard" was to use the first five letters of one's last name followed by their two initials, i.e. "D. L. Withington" becomes "withidl"; I'm used to it, it ain't broke, I ain't gonna fix it.

I used to play a lot of golf, but the name comes from the size of a kidney stone that I had years ago.

I am a nephrologist, someone who takes care of kidney patients. I started my medical career as a pediatrician. So, way back before Al Gore had invented the internet, I chose "kiddoc" as my username. "kid" for both kidney and kids and of course "doc". I think it was the GEnie network. Then I used it on AOL. At some point I couldn't remember my password and there was no "recover your password" or "reset your password" possibility. So I tried to reregister but kiddoc was already taken (by me !!!) so I changed it to kiddoc1. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Reminds me of this...
(and this in no way implies that I would not take an airstream in Hawaii )

Mine consists of my initials and last name (May) followed by my first passion (before discovering Airstream): all things Mac and Apple.

What's the chances of a kidney stone sufferer being followed directly by a kidney doc . . . Only on here :-)

Reply to Goal15: Nice to know there are some fellow fans of As Time Goes By out there! I'm sure that Mrs. Bale would love having an Airstream... "Dinner will be ready in 18 1/2 minutes...". :-)

Well, this was a fun read, and that was an hour of my life well-spent, while procrastinating house chores!
Here's mine:
My last name is Chesher, and my nick-name is Kathy.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Texas A&M (Agricultural and Mechanical) Class of 2003.
Although I'm not a big fan of watching sports (I prefer participation), my allure to this school is its traditions and comradery. Also, my degrees somehow have helped me save enough to purchase an AS.
